Dr. Miles is ABPN Board certified for Child & Adolescent and for General Psychiatry.  Besides her private outpatient practice with offices at Preston at LBJ, she currently serves as Consulting Psychiatrist at the Childrens Medical Center at Dallas, Attending Psychiatrist at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, and as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.  Dr. Miles served earlier as the Medical Director of Psychiatry at the Baylor Regional Medical Center in Plano.

She received her training in Psychiatry at UT Southwestern in Dallas - both fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and residency in Psychiatry.  She has practiced Pediatrics earlier in her career.

Dr. Miles is member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Academy for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Texas Medical Association, Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, Texas Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dallas County Medical Society, Dallas Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology, and Dallas Area Women Psychiatrists.
